Egg

A tender of the bar where we sling food was asking me about our menu for the day, and I described our sweet and peppery caramelized pork belly soup.

"With the egg?" she asked.

"That's the one."

And a woman sitting solo at the bar to my right abruptly turned to me and excitedly asked, "What brand of eggs do you use?!" which is perhaps one of the most unexpected unsolicited question I've received from a stranger (other than that time I was alarmingly asked if my teeth were real).

"What?" I asked.

"What brand of eggs do you use?"

Turns out her husband is in the egg business (she's in whiskey) and now I have this $2 coupon for free-range eggs!
